A Look Back at SEFA's 26th Annual Partnership Conference
We can confidently say that the 26th Annual Partnership Conference, held at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines in Austin, TX, was one of our best events ever.
The conference kicked off with a festive Welcome Dinner at which Tedde and Jim made a grand entrance when they rode in on T-Bone and Ribeye, the resort's resident longhorns. A country-western band got attendees in the mood for a productive Session 1 over dinner and drinks.
Session 1 went off without a hitch and set the tone for an exciting day of networking. Attendees participated in a variety of events. In the spirit of Texas and the Old West, a group of attendees participated in horseback riding and archery. Others went on the GPS challenge which included a variety of outdoor adventures that were both physically and mentally challenging. SEFA also hosted its annual scramble golf tournament. The last, and maybe most popular event was the pool party where attendees hung out by the pool while enjoying the company of friends.
After the networking events, SEFA held its Annual Awards Banquet, and what a beautiful event it turned out to be. Highlights of the awards banquet included Instawares being named Member of the Year. Supplier of the Year honors went to True Food Service Equipment. SEFA also named Gary Dykstra, Manitowoc Foodservice Company, its Executive of the Year. Click here for all the award winners. Session 2 of rotations began promptly, the morning after the Awards Banquet. On Wednesday evening, SEFA hosted a Texas Fiesta. A salsa band played, SEFA-ritas were served and everyone had a wonderful time before the final day of the conference.
