Meeting Information for the Dealer

Coaching sessions will be held on Thursday, October 11th and conclude on Friday afternoon, October 12th. Featured Product Presentations will be held on Friday afternoon, October 12th and conclude Saturday afternoon, October 13th.  



Registration for the Conference will start at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 10th at Eaglewood Resort & Spa. Wednesday at 5:00pm, all DSR attendees are required to attend the Dealer Meeting in the Pavilion. A reception will be held after where you will meet your Coaching team. After the reception, teams will join their Coaches for dinner. Dinner should be used to review opportunities, successes, or challenges you've had with the line you are championing. In this way, your Coach can prepare to address these challenges the next day.

On the Coaching day, you will be on a team with approximately 7 - 12 dealer salespeople from different dealerships. You will be trained for 2 hours on Thursday.  This will be the line for your follow up sales meeting.  After the Coaching session, you will gather with your team and rotate to view five 90-minute presentations by the other coaches.

For the Featured Product Presentations you will rotate with a group and meet with 12 suppliers, rotating every 30 minutes.

SEFAPro points are awarded AFTER the conference is completed in full. No taining sessions can be missed and the follow-up sales meeting must be held with Coaching Review paperwork submitted by Tuesday, December 3, 2012.

An optional ServSafe class will be offered Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 8am - 5pm.  Class Fee is $125 (Includes class materials and lunch).  A must-have certification for any one in our industry!  ServSafe is a food safety training and certificate program administered by the NRA.  The course covers foodborne illnesses, including information on specific foodborne pathogens, contamination, and food allergens.  Prevention is also covered, with information regarding purchasing and receiving guidelines, food preparation, holding, and serving guidelines, food safety management systems, sanitation guidelines for facilities and equipment, and integrated pest control, as well as food safety regulations and employee training.  Certification is valid for 5 years. You will be prompted in the registration for this class. If you are interested in participating, please sign up.

An optional tour of the Elkay Technology Center will take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 form 1pm - 4:30pm.  If you are interested in particpating, please sign up in your registration.

Important Information:

  • Registrations canceled after September 25, 2012 will be charged a $200 fee.
  • Flight departure times should be no earlier than 2pm (CST) on Saturday, October 13, 2012.
  • The dress code for the Conference is business casual.
