ColdZone recently introduced their Next-Gen Uni-Pak condensing units. The Next-Gen is designed to meet upcoming EPA and Department of Energy refrigeration requirements, while providing foodservice professionals with increased flexibility and efficiency for lower long-term operating costs. They are available with low-cost Hermetic or quiet and efficient Scroll compressors, with or without flooded head pressure control.
Refrigerants utilized include 404A and new refrigerants R407A, R407C, and R448A/R449A. All of these refrigerants can be used with either medium temp or low temp applications.
The integral sub-cooling circuit that allows saturated liquid to flow from the receiver to the condenser where the refrigerant is sub-cooled by ambient air, provides an average of 3° to 5°F of sub-cooling for higher efficiency and excellent operating stability.
These units come standard with all-weather galvanized steel painted housing, generously sized high efficiency condenser, enhanced copper tubes/aluminum fins, and more.
Serviceability is a breeze with service valves on the outside of the cabinet and a large electrical panel that is removable for easy access.
