Scotsman Ice has received the 2015 GOOD DESIGN™ award for their new Meridian™ ice and water dispensers. This award comes from the world’s most prestigious, most recognized, and oldest Design Awards program organized by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
The Meridian™ Series delivers the latest in ice and water dispensing technology, producing the H2 nugget, the softest and most satisfying nugget ice available.
One of Scotsman’s goals was to maximize valuable operator space by providing a premium ice and water dispensing unit with the smallest possible footprint. With the high demand for soft ice in healthcare foodservice, the small footprint is perfect for crowded nursing stations and cafeterias.

The Meridian™ features Touch-Free technology, intuitive diagnostics for constant status information, and Aqua Armor with Agion for built-in antimicrobial protection. Compressor and fan are designed for energy efficiency and quiet operation.
When you set up your new Meridian™ ice and water dispenser you will find a USB port on the control board. This allows operators to update software and features without having to purchase a new control board. The unit even features a unique QR code, giving operators instant access to information about their particular model on the spot. The QR gives operators access to warranty information, cleaning instructions, parts lists, manuals, and registration, serial, or model numbers.
