True Reverse Condensing Fan Motor, or RCU technology is standard on all True hydrocarbon refrigeration models. What is RCU and what does it do?  RCU reverses the direction of the condensing fan motor to remove excess debris from the interior and surface of the condensing coil. During normal operation, the fan operates conventionally, drawing outside air in over the condensing coil. In the first 20 seconds after startup, the fan runs in reverse to blow dust, dirt and debris off the condensing coil.

 

The bottom-line results include 20% less energy consumption, increased life span of the refrigerator, temperature consistency and cold fresh products.
